It's Called "Practice" for a reason

I get so sick and tired of arrogance.  Abram's pediatrician since birth has been spouting off crap like "well in my 15 years of practice....."  Well, even with your 15 years of practice, you have somehow failed to know what to do with my son.  He's had this nasty cough up and down for about a month and a half now.  Ridiculous! This same pediatrician with "15 years of practice" needs to practice telling patients' parents that their child may get a side effect that will scare you.  In the drug facts of Abram's antibiotic, it reads could lead to abnormal BM, seek immediate medical attention if blood in stools.  Well, every BM from an infant is abnormal.  It doesn't say, could turn completely red!  This is where the pediatrician should step in and say, "by the way, if his BM turns red, don't panic, he's not bleeding out".  Needless to say, we switched pediatricians after a panic $250 rush to the ER.  I should send my bill to him. Jerk!  Here are some other points you should practice:

  • Practice giving your patients an actual diagnosis instead of just giving a med and saying "let's see"
  • Practice telling your staff how to behave and speak to people
  • Have your staff practice on ANSWERING THE DAMN PHONE!
  • Practice being a little more modest and a little less arrogant.
I'm sure there are some other things he could practice, but I'll leave it alone for now.  Here's Abram in his cute little gown at the hospital.

Well at least he didn't act like he was sick. This kind of makes us look bad!
Poor baby :(

Aw poor baby! Im glad u switched! We switched too before Kinley turned a year old. We had a doc who was just in and out and didnt care about our concerns- and he talked so fast i couldnt understand a damn thing he said.
Anyway I hope little A gets some relief soon!!
